Sogahime Shrine is a historic Shikinaisha shrine with multiple deities, easily accessible by train.
What it is
- A Shikinaisha shrine, listed in the Engishiki Jinmyocho.
- Main deities are Sogahime Okami and Chiyoharu Inari Okami.
- Also enshrines Amaterasu Sumera Okami, Kasuga-no-kami, Hachiman-no-kami.
- Formerly known as Kasuga Daimyojin, with Kasuga-no-kami as central faith.
