Suwa Shrine is a historic site with a beautiful main hall, easily accessible by train.

- A village shrine dedicated to Takeminakata-no-Mikoto.
- Founded as a mountain god during the Enryaku era.
- Minamoto no Yoritomo had the main shrine built.
- Rebuilt in 1457 by Kokubun Muneharu.

- Stands on the left bank of the Saikachi River.
