- Established in 1589 as a branch of Suwa Grand Shrine.
- Formed in 1875 by merging two shrines.
- Dedicated to Takeminakata-no-kami and Yasakatome-no-kami.
- Tutelary shrine for Kagawa and Mizuki districts.
