Suzu Shrine is an ancient Japan Heritage site with unique deity statues, worth visiting for its history.
What it is
- Ancient shrine founded during Emperor Sujin's reign.
- Relocated to its current site between 749 and 756 AD.
- Dedicated to Amatsuhidakahikohoni Ninigi no Mikoto.
- Certified as a Japan Heritage site in April 2015.
