What it is

Shinto shrine in Zama City, Kanagawa Prefecture.
Dedicated to Izanagi-no-Mikoto and Susanoo-no-Mikoto.
Believed to be founded during Emperor Kinmei's reign.
Designated as a Zama City Historic Site in 1982.

Ancient oak trees, some 900 years old.
The 'Kameido' sacred well, used since ancient times.
Suzuka Ruins, a Jomon period settlement site.
Oldest existing munafuda (ridge tag) from 1556.
