Taion-ji is a historic Nichiren-shu temple with notable burials, easily accessible by tram.
What it is
- A Nichiren-shu Buddhist temple.
- Founded in 1661 by Matsudaira Masakatsu.
- Originally named Myotai-ji, later renamed.
- Moved to its current location in 1741.
