Tairyō Shrine
大領神社
Tairyō Shrine honors a Jinshin War commander, rebuilt after 1600, and is a significant local shrine.
What it is
- A Shikinaisha, a shrine listed in an ancient text.
- Dedicated to Miyano Suguri Konomi, a Jinshin War commander.
- Considered the Ninomiya, or second shrine, of Mino Province.
- A sessha, or auxiliary shrine, of Nangu Taisha Shrine.
