Taisō-ji Temple is a historic Buddhist temple in Shinjuku with unique statues.
What it is
- Jōdo-shū Buddhist temple, founded in 1668.
- Originated from Taisō-an hermitage around 1596.
- Family temple for the Naitō clan.
- Main deity is Amida Nyorai.
