Takeminatomi Shrine
多祁御奈刀弥神社
Takeminatomi Shrine, founded before 779, is a historic site dedicated to two important deities.
What it is
- Dedicated to Takeminakata-no-mikoto and Yasakatome-no-mikoto.
- The Hachisuka family revered this shrine.
- Hachisuka Mitsutaka prayed here in 1627.
- Records mention a spirit transfer in 779.
