Tamasaki Shrine
玉崎神社
Ancient shrine in Chiba, dedicated to two deities, with historic buildings and guardian dogs.
What it is
- Founded in 40 AD, a very old shrine.
- Dedicated to Tamayori-hime-no-mikoto.
- Also enshrines Yamato Takeru-no-mikoto.
- Considered the second shrine of Shimousa Province.
