Terayama Shrine is a historic local shrine with unique folk dances, one minute from Nebukawa Station.
What it is
- A central shrine in the Nebukawa area.
- Dedicated to Takemikazuchi no Mikoto.
- Formerly known as Terayama Gongen before the Edo period.
- Currently managed by Matsubara Shrine.
What to see
- A Dōsojin, an Odawara City Tangible Folk Cultural Property.
- Asama Shrine, a subsidiary shrine.
- Yamajinja, a subsidiary shrine.
When to go
- Kashima Odori dance on the third Sunday of July.
- Fuku Odori children's dance on January 14.
