What it is

  • A Shingon-shu Buzan-ha temple.
  • Founded by Jōyo Hōin during the Eiroku era (1558-1570).
  • Rebuilt in 1915 after an 1880 fire.

  • The Yakushi statue was retrieved from the sea.
