Tokurin-ji Temple

Visit Tokurin-ji Temple to see two historic gates, one from Inuyama Castle.
What it is
- A Rinzai sect Myoshin-ji school temple.
- Founded by Yoichiro Koike.
- Restored by Oda Hirochika in 1469.
What to see
- The Chumon (middle gate) built in 1475.
- The Sanmon (main gate) relocated in 1876.
- The Sanmon was the first Kuromon of Inuyama Castle.
- Both gates are designated cultural properties.
