What it is
- A Rinzai sect Myoshinji school temple.
- Founded in 1538 by Katayama Naruhisa.
- Dedicated to the main deity Sho-Kannon Bosatsu.
- The 27th sacred site of Mino Shin Shikoku.
When to go
- Originally established on a sandbank in the Kiso River.
- Rebuilt in 1804 after a flood.
- Moved to its current location in 1928.
