Tō'un-ji Temple

What it is

• A Sōtō Zen Buddhist temple also known by the mountain name Dairyūzan.
• The 46th site on the Chūbu 49 Yakushi Pilgrimage route.
• Founded as a hermitage in 1455 with buildings established in 1604.
• A branch temple of Kaigen-in reconstructed at its current site in 1958.
