Towari Yama

What it is

• A mountain peak reaching an elevation of 990.9 meters on the Aomori and Akita border.
• Part of the Lake Towada outer rim and one of the Towada Sanzan mountains.
• Identified by Katsutoki Sakai as a Japanese pyramid according to local mystical theories.
• Associated with the Takeuchi Documents which claim an ancient capital existed at the base.
