Tsūhō-ji
通法寺
Tsūhō-ji is a historic temple site in Osaka with significant Minamoto clan ties.
What it is
- Former family temple of the Kawachi Genji clan.
- Founded in 1043 by Minamoto no Yoriyoshi.
- Destroyed by war, rebuilt in the Edo period.
- Abolished in 1868 due to Haibutsu kishaku.

- Minamoto no Yoriyoshi's tomb is on the grounds.
- Stone tombstone and fence from the late Meiji era.
