What it is

  • A Soto Zen temple in Fukuroi City founded by Shiho Sozan in 1577
  • The Edo Shogunate designated this site as a guardian temple for Kasuisai
  • Shogun Tokugawa Iemitsu granted the temple official land rights in 1630
  • The facility currently provides specialized services for pet funerals and tree burials
