Ancient shrine with unique camphor trees, dedicated to emperors and deities, rebuilt by a castle lord.
What it is
- Founded in 1220, rebuilt in 1507 by a castle lord.
- Dedicated to Emperor Ojin, Empress Jingu, and other deities.
- Known as Tatsunomiya, named after a market.
- Renamed Usa Hachiman Shrine in 1870.

- Three large camphor trees stand on the grounds.
- Camphor trees are a Prefectural Natural Monument.
