Wanikawa Shrine is a historic shrine in Kagawa Prefecture, known for its large lion dance.
What it is
- One of the fifteen shrines of Sanuki.
- Dedicated to Toyotama-hime no Mikoto and Emperor Ōjin.
- Renamed Wanikawa Shrine in 1872.

- Lion head: 63cm high, 90cm wide, 100cm long.
- The lion dance is a designated cultural property.
