Watari Shrine honors a local samurai and commemorates Japan's wars, built on a historic stronghold.
What it is
- A village shrine, approved in June 1879.
- Also known as Watari Shokonsha and Odate.
- Dedicated to Takehayachio-no-mikoto.
- Honors Date Shigezane, a local samurai.
