Yakuoin is a historic Shingon-shu temple, founded in the Genroku era, worth visiting for its serene atmosphere.

- Founded by Jozen during the Genroku era (1688-1704).
- Formerly a branch of Nishiarai Daishi Sojiji.
- Became a branch of Hase-dera temple in 1939.
