Yakurin-ji Temple
薬林寺
Yakurin-ji is a historic temple with unique halls, easily accessible for a quick cultural visit.
What it is
- A Shingon-shu Chizan-ha Buddhist temple.
- Founded in 1460 by Yujun.
- Destroyed during the fall of Iwatsuki Castle.

- Yakushi-do hall, rebuilt in 1989.

- Kannon-do hall, moved from Asahi Hikawa Shrine.
