What it is

  • Shrine founded in 875 by imperial order from Iwashimizu Hachimangu.
  • Another theory states it was founded in 749 from Usa Jingu.
  • Dedicated to Hōda wake no Mikoto, Tamayori Hime, Okinagatarashi Hime no Mikoto.
  • Adjacent to the ruins of Shimotsuke Yakushiji Temple.
