Yōbō-ji Temple

What it is
- Independent Nichiren temple in Hiratsuka, Kanagawa Prefecture.
- Originated from a residence where Nichiren stayed in 1282.
- Later converted into a temple by Daijo Ajari Nichijō.
- Restored by Nichishin, 17th abbot of Minobusan Kuon-ji.
What to see
- Tomb of Masako, daughter of Prince Takami.
- This tomb, Taira-zuka, is the origin of Hiratsuka's name.
