Yodogawa Shrine

What it is

• Established in 1953, rebuilt on former Jūgo Jinja grounds.
• Enshrines deities from Jūgo Jinja and Hachiman Daishingū.
• Approved as an independent religious corporation in 1959.
• Houses 15 enshrined deities.

What to see

• Main hall, worship hall, and shrine office.
• Awashima Jinja and Inari-sha are on the grounds.
• Bronze statue of Yosa Buson in front of the main hall.
• Statue is 65 cm high and 70 cm wide, unveiled in 2016.

Getting there

• 1.1 km west of Shirokitakōendōri Station.
