Yōtaku-ji Temple
永澤寺
Yōtaku-ji Temple is a historic Zen temple with beautiful gardens and significant Buddhist statues.
What it is
- A Sōtō Zen temple founded in 1370.
- Dedicated to Shaka Nyorai, Dainichi Nyorai, and Amida Nyorai.
- Founded by Hosokawa Yoriyuki, with Tsūgen Jakurei Zenji as priest.
- A direct branch of Sōjiji Temple.

- Main hall, rebuilt in 1778.
- Myōkōkaku building, constructed in 1994.
