Yūfuku-ji Temple is a historic Jodo-shu temple with connections to powerful samurai.
What it is
- A Jodo-shu Seizan Zenrin-ji sect temple.
- Founded in 1191 by Utsunomiya Yoritsuna.
- Re-established around 1389.
- Received land grants from Oda Nobunaga and Tokugawa Ieyasu.

- The current main gate, built in 1892.
- A hanging scroll of Amida Sanzon in the main hall.
- An Amida Nyorai statue donated by Tokugawa Ieyasu.
