Zempuku-ji Temple
善福寺
Zenpukuji is an ancient Buddhist temple with historical ties to Mirokuji, easily accessible by bus.
What it is
- A Buddhist temple of the Koyasan Shingon-shu sect.
- Founded by Zenchu during the Tenpyo era (729-749).
- One of six outer temples of Mirokuji (Katsuo-ji).
- Restored by Shunzen during the Horeki era (1751-1763).

- The temple grounds include Konpira-gu.
