Zengyō-ji Temple is a historic Shin Buddhist temple with several registered cultural properties.
What it is
- A Shin Buddhist temple of the Ōtani-ha branch.
- Founded as a Zen temple, Zenkō-ji.
- Converted to Jōdo Shinshū Buddhism by Kakujun.
- Moved to its current location in 1501.

- Six buildings are registered cultural properties.
- The main hall, completed in 1706.
- The main gate, completed in 1755.
- The bell tower, completed around 1896.
