Zenkyū-ji Temple
善久寺
Zenkyū-ji Temple is a historic Jōdo Shinshū site, rebuilt after the Great Kantō Earthquake.
What it is
- A Jōdo Shinshū Honganji-ha sect temple.
- Founded in 1617 by Ryōshin.
- Moved to current location in 1927.
- Separated from Tsukiji Hongan-ji in 1927.
What to see
- Cemetery with the grave of Nanogaki Hosuke.
- Nanogaki Hosuke was a Western-style doctor.
