Zuikō-ji Temple
瑞光寺
Zuiko-ji is a historic Nichiren-shu temple in Kyoto, home to important cultural properties.
What it is
- A Nichiren-shu temple, also called Gensei-an.
- Founded in 1655 by Gensei Shonin.
- Its sango (mountain name) is Fukakusa-zan.
- Stands on the former site of Gokuraku-ji.
