Zuikō-ji Temple

Zuikō-ji Temple, a rebuilt Rinzai Buddhist temple, features a unique whale bone bridge.
What it is
- A Rinzai sect Myoshinji school Buddhist temple.
- Founded as Shigetsuji, renamed Zuikō-ji in 1729.
- Destroyed by fire, then by air raids in 1945.
- Rebuilt in 1984 after wartime destruction.
