Anyō-ji Temple
安養寺
Anyo-ji is a historic temple in Tokyo, notable for its connection to the Shiono family.
What it is
- A Shingon-shu Chizan-ha Buddhist temple.
- Founded by Raichin during the Eiji era (1375-1378).
- Revived by Kakugen Ajari during the Keian era (1648-1652).
- Part of the Tama 88 and Hachioji 33 Kannon Sacred Sites.

- A monument to Shiono Kuranosuke, erected in 1954.
