- A Shikinaisha shrine, listed in the Engishiki Jinmyocho.
- Dedicated to Amanomikatsuhime and Yamatohime-no-mikoto.
- Founded in 28 AD according to shrine tradition.
- Renamed Azura Shrine in 1872.
