Tendai sect temple, founded on Mt. Chomeiji.
Main deity is a composite of three Kannon statues.
31st temple of the Saigoku Kannon Pilgrimage.
Designated a Japan Heritage site in 2015.

Three-storied pagoda, rebuilt in 1597.
