Chōshō-ji Temple is a historic Zen temple with a serene atmosphere, rebuilt after fires.

- Founded in 1528 by Akagi Dansho Taira Yasutada.
- Opened in 1536 by Hanko Zenji.
- Head temple is Eihei-ji in Fukui Prefecture.
