Daifuku-ji Temple is a historic Shingon temple with important statues and art.
What it is
- A temple of the Shingon sect.
- One of 48 temples in the town.
- Was a branch temple of Koyasan Tamon-in in the Edo period.
What to see
- Seated statue of Yakushi Nyorai is the main image.
- Standing statue of Eleven-faced Kannon from 1560.
- Colored mandalas on wooden panels.
- Stone pagoda made of granite, about 3m tall.
- A 1444 copy of Zuimuki.
