Denjō-ji Temple

Denjo-ji is a Jodo-shu Buddhist temple with a unique Jizo statue and historical artifacts.
What it is
- A Jodo-shu Buddhist temple.
- Founded by priest Juyo Ryoko.
- Established as a branch temple of Sensho-ji.
- Burned down in 1802, then rebuilt.
What to see
- Jizo Bodhisattva statue with a Fujiwara period head.
- The statue's body was made later.
- A fushigane from 1798.
Getting there
- 15-minute walk from Oyamadai Station.
- Accessible by bus from Todoroki Station.
