Eishō-ji Temple
永昌寺
Eishō-ji is a historic Rinzai Zen temple, part of a Kannon pilgrimage route.
What it is
- A Rinzai school Myōshin-ji sect temple.
- Founded in 1652.
- Fifth temple of the Mino 33 Kannon Pilgrimage.

- Main hall, rebuilt in 1983.
- Kuri (monks' living quarters), rebuilt in 1986.
- Godō-dō enshrining Kendatsuba-ō.
- Jūō-dō and Kannon-dō.
- Graves of Sengai's parents.
