Ekō-in Temple
回向院
Eko-in is a historic Jodo-shu temple rebuilt after a fire, easily accessible from Soka Station.
What it is
- Jodo-shu temple.
- One theory: founded in 1630 by Enshu.
- Another theory: founded in early Edo period by Gen'emon.
- A third theory: founded in 1653.

- Temple was burned down in 1922.
- Rebuilt in 1924.
- New building constructed in 1962.
