Enjō-ji Temple

Enjoji Temple is a historic Rinzai temple with unique Enku statues and a founder's grave.
What it is
- A Rinzai sect temple, also called Tono Enjoji.
- Formal name is Myoshinji-ha Tenshozan Enjoji.
- Founded in 1221 by Ema Terutsune.
- 22nd temple of the Hida 33 Kannon Pilgrimage.
