Fushun-in Temple is a Soto Zen temple with historical family tombs, rebuilt after earthquakes.

What it is

  • A Soto Zen temple, named Dairyuzan Fushun-in.
  • Founded by Meiho Denkei Daizenji and Kokan-in Sannsei.
  • Built during the Tensho era (1573-1592).
  • A branch temple of Kimpusan Kokan-in.

  • The current main hall, rebuilt in 1990.
  • A Sanmon gate and a memorial tower.
  • Tomb of Imai Samanosuke Nobukage.
  • Many tombs of the Imai family.
