Gakuden-ji Temple

Gakuden-ji is a historic Shingon temple with ties to Kukai and a pilgrimage site.
What it is
- A Shingon-shu temple in Higashiosaka City, Osaka Prefecture.
- Built by Takauchi Minato during the Konin era (810-824).
- Kukai, a prominent monk, stayed here.
- The 22nd temple of the Kawachi Saigoku Pilgrimage.

- The current main hall, rebuilt in 1981.
