Gosha Shrine is an ancient site, rebuilt after war, with a notable pagoda and artifacts.

What it is

  • Founded in 724 by the monk Gyoki.
  • Dedicated to Kuninotokotachi-no-Mikoto and Susanoo-no-Mikoto.
  • Rebuilt in 1589 after being burned down in 1573.
