What it is

  • A temple of the Chisan sect of Shingon Buddhism.
  • Dedicated to the Dainichi Nyorai of the Vajradhatu.
  • Became the family temple of Yasuda Yoshisada.
  • Predecessor was a Tendai sect temple, moved in 1184.
