Hōkō-ji Temple is a historic Buddhist temple with important statues, worth visiting for its cultural heritage.
What it is
- A temple of the Chisan sect of Shingon Buddhism.
- Dedicated to the Dainichi Nyorai of the Vajradhatu.
- Became the family temple of Yasuda Yoshisada.
- Predecessor was a Tendai sect temple, moved in 1184.

- A wooden standing statue of Fudo Myoo from the Heian period.
