Honmyō-ji Temple
本妙寺
Honmyō-ji Temple is a historic temple in Nagaoka City, rebuilt in 1902.
What it is
- A temple of the Hokke-shu Jinmon-ryu sect.
- Founded in 1607 by Nichiraku.
- Moved to its current location in 1660.
- Received reverence from the Makino clan.
