Hontaki-ji Temple is a unique 'bike temple' offering prayers for motorcycles and a scenic waterfall.
What it is
- Head temple of the Myoken-shu sect.
- Founded in 1921 by Noma Nisso Shonin.
- Renamed Hontaki-ji in 1926.
- Main deity is Shaka Nyorai.

- Nose no Hontaki waterfall within temple grounds.
- Waterfall was used as an ascetic training ground.
