Hōtō-ji Temple is a historic Nichiren Buddhist temple with Kyoto's oldest multi-storied pagoda.

- Dedicated to the main deity Sanbō Son.
- Originated as the Shingon temple Gokuraku-ji.
- Converted to Nichiren Buddhism between 1308 and 1311.
