Jinnō-ji Temple

Jinnō-ji is an ancient Sōtō Zen temple with important cultural properties.
What it is
- A Sōtō Zen temple founded by Gyōkyō.
- Established during the Jōgan era (859–877).
- Was a Jingū-ji of Iwashimizu Hachimangū.
- Became a Zen temple in the late Muromachi period.

- Main image is Yakushi Nyorai.
- Main hall rebuilt in 1795.
- Bell tower has a ridge tag from 1692.
- Wooden seated statue of Gyōkyō Risshi.
